Aims:
To enable VCS learners to understand the key issues in monitoring & evaluation
Objectives:
- Compare different monitoring approaches
- Explore issues of equality & confidentiality in monitoring
- Explore participatory approaches to evaluation
- Discuss different uses of monitoring & evaluation
At the end of this session learners will be able to:
- Distinguish between monitoring & evaluation
- Explain the monitoring & evaluation requirements of different stakeholders
- Devise outcome measures for different projects
- Comment on how to make effective use of monitoring & evaluation data
Accreditation
This course is 1 credit. To receive the accreditation (optional) there will be an additional piece of course work.
