Target audience: new managers or existing managers wishing to update their knowledge and refresh their skills in managing people and performance.

 

Aims:  to give managers advice and guidance in managing staff through the employee life-cycle. It will cover:

  • Managing New Starters through probation and induction
  • Managing Performance
  • Conducting Effective Performance Reviews
  • Managing Grievances, misconduct and disciplinary
  • Managing and Promoting Well-being and Work Life Balance
  • Managing Exit and Leaving

This is part of the Professional and Personal Development programme at Bradford University.  A number of places on the course are available for staff and volunteers from voluntary and community organisations.
