To enable managers to be confident in their role of preventing and responding to abuse, this training course covers:
- The role of the manager in safeguarding vulnerable adults
- The law and the national context
- Bradford District's Adult Protection Policy and Procedures
- The role of other agencies in Adult Protection/Safeguarding Adults work.
- This course is aimed at managers and deputies of care homes, day centres, supported accommodation and domiciliary care. All registered managers should attend.
