To enable managers to be confident in their role of preventing and responding to abuse, this training course covers:

  • The role of the manager in safeguarding vulnerable adults
  • The law and the national context
  • Bradford District's Adult Protection Policy and Procedures
  • The role of other agencies in Adult Protection/Safeguarding Adults work.
  • This course is aimed at managers and deputies of care homes, day centres, supported accommodation and domiciliary care. All registered managers should attend.
