For all staff who have contact with vulnerable adults e.g. domestic and catering staff, drivers, support workers, housing wardens, healthcare assistants, volunteers and advocates. Essential for those who supervise/line manage staff who undertake work with vulnerable adults. This training course is the foundation course and a pre-requisite for all other multi-agency Adult Protection training.


This training course covers:

  • What is meant by abuse
  • How to recognise it
  • The purpose of the Adult Protection Policy
  • Who is covered by this Policy
  • The actions to take if you suspect someone is being abused
