This course will give participants an introduction to project management. It is aimed at anyone in voluntary organisations who manages projects and want a framework for improving how they do this. This could be anything from planning events to complex change management projects.
The course aims to simplify the processes required to manage a project successfully from start to finish. It defines the discipline in simple terms and provides you with some of the tools to make your project work for you.
The course will cover:
- How to work out the project objectives, content and boundaries
- Planning projects including useful tools and techniques
- Identifying project roles and defining responsibilities
- Identifying and managing risks and opportunities
