The aim of the courses is to help voluntary and community groups develop the skills needed to use the media effectively.
This course is aimed at anyone active in their community or voluntary group especially those concerned with publicity, recruitment or promotion
Course content:
- Planning a publicity campaign – holding events
- Using the media to promote your group – press releases, press conferences
- How to get stories about your group in the newspaper or on the radio
