Involving volunteers in your organisation gives a clear, strong message that volunteers are valued and are vital to the work of your organisation.
This training session will be based around the main areas highlighted in Bradford’s Policy Statement of Good Practice in Working with Volunteers including:
Why and how to involve volunteers in your organisation?
- Recruitment and Selection
- Management and Support
- Practical Issues (including Health and Safety, Insurance, Expenses)
The course is aimed at people wanting to think through and/or review how they involve volunteers and their existing policies and procedures.
