Participants will learn the distinction between hazard and risk, the principles of risk assessment and the hierarchy of prevention and control measures.
The session will cover the risk assessment requirements of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Requirements, also the risk assessment requirement of specific regulation such as the Manual Handling Operations Regulations.
This session is for Management Committee Members and Staff with responsibilities for Health and Safety. It is aimed specifically at small organisations in the Voluntary and Community sector.
