Funders require you to prove there is a need for your project using information and statistics. This course will develop your skills in finding, interpreting and using deprivation data on your neighbourhood, to use in your funding bids.
This course is aimed at:
Information workers in the Voluntary and Community Sector, anyone interested in doing community research, anyone looking for information to evidence a funding application or prove the need for a community project and anyone looking for information in relation to local campaigns
Course content:
- Hands- on experience of using the 2007 Index of Multiple Deprivation and other social statistics about small areas in Bradford
- Explore other sources of information about the Bradford District
