The course will enable participants to understand what will be required by their auditors or independent examiners. Participants will gain an understanding of what their annual accounts mean – including terminology & key trends.

 

The session will cover:

  • Getting things ready for your accountant
  • Check lists, information required & why
  • Good practice and tips and ideas of what to do at the year end
  • Statutory requirements for annual accounts
  • Interpreting annual accounts
  • Different types of accounts

There will also be a chance to look at participants own accounts – therefore please bring a copy of your organisations accounts.

 

The session is aimed at staff or committee members who have responsibility for the annual accounts
