The course will enable participants to understand what will be required by their auditors or independent examiners. Participants will gain an understanding of what their annual accounts mean – including terminology & key trends.
The session will cover:
- Getting things ready for your accountant
- Check lists, information required & why
- Good practice and tips and ideas of what to do at the year end
- Statutory requirements for annual accounts
- Interpreting annual accounts
- Different types of accounts
There will also be a chance to look at participants own accounts – therefore please bring a copy of your organisations accounts.
The session is aimed at staff or committee members who have responsibility for the annual accounts
