Aim of course
To improve the skills and confidence of course participants when preparing and delivering a speech in public.
This course is aimed at anyone active in a voluntary or community group who sometimes need to speak up in public.
Course content:
We will look at speaking on the radio or television, making presentations to committees and speaking at public meetings. We will look at prepared speeches and making contributions to debates and discussions. Participants will have a opportunity to practice giving speeches in a supportive environment
