This course is for those new and/or nervous about giving presentations wanting to build skills and confidence.
This course gives participants an opportunity to practice the preparation and presentation of audience-targeted information. The course will provide a safe environment for those who find presentations very daunting, and explore coping strategies for dealing with those nerves. However, the session will also be a worthwhile learning experience for those more confident presenters who would like to receive feedback on their presentation skills.
Through practice and receiving feedback participants will become aware of what aspects of their presentation skills are already excellent, and those that need to develop.
A small amount of homework is involved to prepare a short presentation for delivery on the 2nd day of training.
