As the first person that visitors meet, receptionists have to be professional, efficient, quick-thinking, conflict-managing problem-solvers. The receptionist who can do all this – often while answering the telephone – is an asset to any organisation.
This course will help you to:
- Understand the role of the receptionist and how visitors see you
- Use questioning skills to accurately identify the needs of the visitor
- Juggle tasks without losing your cool
- Handle difficult customers and defuse anger
- 'Signpost' effectively and accurately.
This course is suitable for people who act as the visitors first point of contact, whatever their job title.
