Giving feedback can be difficult for many reasons. This course is aimed at managers of staff, but is suitable for anyone, who would like to use performance-related feedback to motivate and develop staff and colleagues. The course aim is to raise awareness of the inner/emotional and outer/practical aspects of giving feedback.

t will explore:
- Basic assumptions about feedback
- The purpose of giving regular feedback as a performance management tool
- How regular feedback can contribute a more focused Performance Review discussion
- Ways to ensure feedback is effectively received
- The importance of keeping development and motivation at the core of feedback conversations
