Aims:
To enable leaners from the voluntary and community sector to understand the purpose, stages, key elements and uses of business plans
Objectives
Clarify key terms and concepts:
Discuss good practice and barriers in the planning process
Relate require content to learners own organisations
Discuss communication issues around using the plans
At the end of the session learners will be able to:
Distinguish between diffierent types of plan
Identify phases of development and implementation
Draft specimen content in key sections of a plan
Comment on how to make effective use of their plan
Accreditation
This course is 1 credit. To receive the accreditation for this course there will be an additional piece of course work
