This session is aimed at groups looking for small grants of up to around £10,000 to help run and expand their activities and services. This session will particularly focus on applications for grants from the Keighley Area Co-ordinators Office (Community Chest) and Craven Trust although groups outside the area for those funds can still attend.
We will look at identifying appropriate funds (such as local council pots, Awards for All and charitable trusts) and how best to approach them.
The session will cover
- Identifying small and local funding sources
- What the funders want to know about your work
- Completing application forms
- What funders will expect from you if you get the money
